Hi! I’m Emilie.

The heart and vision behind Studio Revival Boudoir, with over a decade of photography experience fuelled by passion. I fell in love with boudoir during my college internship — a space where art meets transformation. With a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Photography, I opened York Region’s first dedicated boudoir studio in 2015.

I’ve seen how a shoot can reignite confidence, self-worth, and joy in women. Life paused for me a few years to focus on family and personal growth, teaching me strength and the power of starting again. Studio Revival Boudoir is the result — bold, empathetic, and all about women rising. Here, every woman is seen, supported, and celebrated. This isn’t just a studio — it’s a space to honour the woman you’ve become.

At Studio Revival, we don’t just take beautiful photos — we hold space for transformation. This is your time to feel seen, celebrated, and deeply connected to the woman you are today. Every step is designed to support you, calm any nerves, and create a space where you can truly relax, let go, and feel empowered.

02. Reach Out, Let’s Connect

It all begins with a simple hello. Start by filling out the contact form. From there, I’ll personally reach out with session details and offer a few dates and times. When you come in to my home studio, we'll chat about your hopes for the session, go over all the details, answer any questions. Finally I will create a personalized experience for just for during your sess. This is where you begin to feel the ease and excitement of what’s ahead.

03. Session Day at The Studio

Your boudoir experience takes place in our private, in-home studio located in Aurora, Ontario — a warm, inviting space created to help you feel safe, comfortable, and celebrated.

We kindly ask that you arrive fully ready for your shoot — with hair and makeup done by the artist of your choice, or styled by you in whatever way makes you feel most beautiful.

Your session includes:
~ A private one-on-one, fully guided, 60min photo shoot
~ Unlimited outfit changes
~ Gentle, clear direction throughout to help you feel at ease

Whether this is your first shoot or your fifth, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

What if I’m nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera?

Many of the women I photograph arrive feeling nervous, unsure, or even a little outside of their comfort zone. I’ll guide you through every pose, movement, and expression so you never have to wonder what to do. We move at your pace, and there is never pressure to do anything that doesn’t feel right. My goal is for you to feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and simply enjoy being yourself.

Do I need to look like a “boudoir model” to do a session?

Not at all — and honestly, I don't want you to. Boudoir isn't about fitting yourself into a particular look, body type, age, or idea of what sexy is supposed to be. It's about creating images that feel like you. I'll use posing, lighting, styling, and direction to photograph you beautifully while still allowing your personality to come through. You don't need to lose weight, change your body, or become someone else before your session. You are already worthy of being photographed exactly as you are.
